Almost All Words Are Seen in Critical Site Percolation on the Triangular Lattice

We consider critical site percolation on the triangular lattice, that is, we choose X(v) = 0 or 1 with probability 1/2 each, independently for all vertices v of the triangular lattice. We say that a word (ξ1, ξ2, . . . ) ∈ {0, 1}N is seen in the percolation configuration if there exists a selfavoiding path (v1, v2, . . . ) on the triangular lattice with X(vi) = ξi, i ≥ 1. We prove that with pro...

Directed Percolation on a 2D Triangular Lattice

We study directed percolation on a 2D triangular lattice where the forward direction is perpendicular to one of the lattice axes. In addition to the geometrical description, an equivalent dynamic description of the model is presented. Simulations are performed based on an algorithm from the dynamic description to obtain the critical probability of bond occupation as pc ≈ 0.522. A mean field the...

Stacked triangular lattice: Percolation properties

The stacked triangular lattice has the shape of a triangular prism. In spite of being considered frequently in solidstate physics and materials science, its percolation properties have received little attention. We investigate several nonuniversal percolation properties on this lattice using Monte Carlo simulation. We show that the percolation threshold is pbond c = 0.18602 ± 0.00002 for bonds ...

The High Temperature Ising Model on the Triangular Lattice is a Critical Bernoulli Percolation Model

We define a new percolation model by generalising the FK representation of the Ising model, and show that on the triangular lattice and at high temperatures, the critical point in the new model corresponds to the Ising model. Since the new model can be viewed as Bernoulli percolation on a random graph, our result makes an explicit connection between Ising percolation and critical Bernoulli perc...

Site Percolation on Multi-dimensional Lattice

Vertices (sites), open with the smallest probability pH , percolate when they form an infinite open path from graph’s origin v0, [2]. Usually, pH values are approximated, but there are a few instances of special lattices with the exact results, [1]. In finite graph Z k , d pairs of opposite arcs are k edges away from v0, Fig. 1 (left). Basis of edges B(Z) and the integers ai(v) assign the place...
